I would have ranked this optic a 5 star optic, but there is a MAJOR design flaw in it. In order to save battery, Swampfox states "In very low light conditions Sentinel-A’s dot will become very difficult or impossible to see." I agree with their assessment, I cannot pickup the dot at all in low light settings.Like Liberty and Justice, Sentinel uses a high efficiency emitter projecting a 3 MOA red dot. Sentinel’s highest setting is brighter than any other current Swampfox red dot. There is no room for a robust and strong tray system with such a small footprint, so replacing Sentinel’s battery means removing the optic and potentially re-zeroing.First step is to check the battery on your optic.
